Berlin 2012

Guten Tag!

I'm pretty sure I only have one more travel post left and then my blogging will be completely consumed by makeup and fashion! I wanted to get these posts out of the way because I tend to forget about blogging when I have a big list of things to write about. Besides I really wanted to share all of my travel pictures :) 

So Berlin, I'm able to write in more detail about this trip like I have for Ibiza because they were recent and I can remember what I thought about everything! I've wanted to visit Berlin for a very long time. This is why I decided to include the language post before this one so it would explain my fascination and adoration for Germany, the country, the language, the culture and the history. (by the way I'm not sure if it's obvious but my grammar is a little bad quite often I apologise) When I got the opportunity to visit Berlin I knew I had to go. The city is well known around the world for being a place where you can easily be free. It's known to be a little crazy but that's what I think draws you in. 

I only spent 4 days I think in Berlin but it was so worth it. I really want to go back and see more of the amazing sights and the shops! Berlin is meant to be an awesome shopping experience, sadly on my trip we did not do very much but I still managed to purchase a few things :) To be honest I think the most exciting aspect for me was how I had the ability to speak to the natives properly even though I never actually spoke much german as everyone spoke english! So that was sort of a bonus but it might've helped me with my german speaking exam a little. haha. 

Berlin is a very fast paced city and is so vibrant. I managed to visit plenty of places such as the Reichstag, Olympic Stadium and the famous department store KaDeWe!
